Love it! Do yourself a favor and just get it

A camera lucida allows you to see your drawing surface and your subject photo at the same time. When you draw you look at your iPad screen that’s held over your paper. Check out the videos on YouTube if you want to see how it works. It’s really different and clever!

Other apps that are trying to copy this one are starting to pop up, but this one blows them (and the traditional prism camera lucidas) out of the water.

Get some paper, a pencil and a flower vase or something to hold your iPad steady over your drawing and go for it.
